Dong Nai province located within the keyed southern economic region, a door toward HCM city and other southern provinces via National Highways No. 1, 20, 51 and 56. According to traffic planning figures, the National Highway 20 receives an average flow of 8,484 vehicles in the year 2004. This number is projected to reach as high as 12,035 vehicles per year by 2010 and 19,603 vehicles per year in 2020. For National Highway 1A, average flow of 29,154 vehicles in the year 2004 was recorded and the number is projected to reach as high as 41,356 vehicles per year by 2010 and 67,364 vehicles per year in 2020 . From the assessments of 2001 and first half of 2002 in Dong Nai province, traffic accidents took 53.31 per cent of total accidents, of which there on National Highways 1A and 20 happened many severe ones (from the Consolidated Report of Dong Nai Traffic Safety Service). The main reason behind these accidents are : drivers from remote provinces entering Dong Nai very late at night in an exhausted state and sleeplessness.

In addtion to the afore-cited main reason that leads to the setup of such a project of bus-stop service station to serve the needs of resting after long trips of drivers and passengers, the project has also been paid much attention to under due diligence by Tin Nghia Company, whereby underlying the economic development of the region; improving infrastructure and bringing back beautiful view to the local district; creating employments and improving earnings for local people. The project of Tan Phu and Xuan Loc Bus-Stop Service Station upon completion will play a role of a public interest and social service, thereby contributing a new and modern shape to the local area.
